We at some points had to turn it up to stop freezing lol. I slept on the pull out couch in the living room and it was pretty spacious and comfy. Lots of USB plugs everywhere. :) Negative:
Just to preface this- we really enjoyed our experience here but I would have preferred a couple of improvements. We were placed in the room directly across from the fire pit and people were out there being loud until 2 am one night despite quiet hours being specified. :( The smart phone casting to TV only worked for the bedroom TV and not the living room. With the proximity of the rooms, we had someone named Gabby trying to cast to our TV while we were watching it several times. The hotel has no front desk staff and any requests are done online. The shower has very good pressure but the lip at the bottom of the shower does not hold water in. We had to roll up a towel in front of the shower door to keep water in.
This was a fantastic little getaway and we will definitely book again!

My husband and I booked our stay on the way to Gatlinburg as a quick getaway. The online pictures looked very nice but we were skeptical because of the low nightly rate. We were pleasantly surprised at our arrival! This was such a beautiful, clean, comfortable and affordable property. The aesthetics were so pleasing and I felt like I was staying in a cabin! This hotel is within walking distance to downtown yet off the beaten path. We especially loved the rain shower!!

The room was spacious, clean, and access was easy. Really like the cabin feel without need to rent an entire cabin. Outdoor spaces were very enjoyable, and relaxing. Negative:
1. The couch in our room had very large and gross stains. So bad we didn’t want to sit on it. Needs to be replaced.
2. One of the fire pits had a ring that wouldn’t lite and so the smell of gas was bad sitting around it.
3. TV in the living room would not allow me to cast from my phone. Worked on bedroom tv no problem.

I loved my stay at The Timber at Holly Branch! Everything looks just like the photos, amazing courtyard + firepits, fabulous linens, and all extremely well maintained. Much thought went into this sweet little oasis at the cusp of the national forest! It was so nice to be close to everything yet away from the busy main strip. You are tucked away in nature with the convenience of still being in walking distance to it all or just a quick uber away. The restaurant on site was beautifully done. The gentleman that ran things over the weekend in the evenings was top notch and the drinks were great. I would love to see them serve actual entrees (vs. light tapas) and a few real breakfast items (I thought the chicken + waffles was a breakfast item, only to find out sunday morning it was evening only, sad). Interior manual deadbolts would be nice too vs. keypad and little chain lock. As a female traveling solo, that would have been an extra level over comfort. 100% recommend!
